Atlanta Shooting; Road Rage Incident Leaves Two Children Injured In Atlanta

A road rage incident early Friday morning left two children injured in a shooting, according to Atlanta Police Department (APD).

Authorities report that an 8-year-old and a 13-year-old were grazed by gunfire while inside a vehicle. The children were later found outside a BP gas station on Main Street in East Point.

APD confirmed that the shooting occurred within their jurisdiction. A bullet hole was visible in the back of the SUV where the children had been riding, highlighting the dangerous nature of the incident.

Both victims are currently recovering, and their injuries are not considered life-threatening.

At this time, no information has been released regarding the suspect or the circumstances leading up to the shooting. APD is actively investigating the incident and urges anyone with information to come forward.
