Steve Odierno Obituary-Death News; Steve Odierno, Director of Marketing at Saint Joseph Regional High School Passes Away
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished colleague and dear friend, Steve Odierno ’93. Steve served as the Director of Marketing at Saint Joseph Regional High School (SJR), and he was also a proud and loving father to Steven Odierno ’23 and Katherine Odierno ’25 (IHA).
His loss is deeply felt throughout the entire SJR community. Steve was not only a dedicated professional but also a passionate alumnus whose unwavering love for Saint Joseph Regional High School never faltered.
He poured his heart and soul into every aspect of school life, working tirelessly to promote SJR’s mission and values with unmatched enthusiasm and authenticity.
Whether he was capturing moments behind the lens at a school event, sharing stories about our students’ achievements, or mentoring a colleague with patience and kindness, Steve brought warmth, energy, and a sense of brotherhood to everything he touched.
The spirit of SJR lived in Steve. He exemplified what it meant to be a Green Knight—loyal, compassionate, and devoted to something greater than himself. Steve’s presence was a constant source of encouragement and joy.
He celebrated every success within our school community, no matter how big or small, and approached each day with positivity and purpose. His infectious smile, easy laugh, and genuine care for others made him beloved by students, parents, alumni, faculty, and staff alike.
Steve’s legacy is not only rooted in his professional contributions but in the deep relationships he built over the years. As a father, his pride in his children was immeasurable. He beamed at Steven’s graduation from SJR in 2023 and took great joy in Katherine’s accomplishments at IHA.
As a friend, he was thoughtful and generous. As a colleague, he was the kind of person everyone could rely on—a calming presence in moments of chaos, a voice of reason, and a consistent reminder of why we do what we do.\
