Karsyn Wayne Slaydon Accident; Family and friends tribute in loving memory of 11-year-old boy, Karsyn Wayne Slaydon who died in UTV rollover accident in East Texas

Karsyn Wayne Slaydon, an 11-year-old boy full of life and joy, tragically passed away following a UTV rollover accident in East Texas. Despite the heroic efforts of firefighters and a nearby nurse who lifted the overturned vehicle and pulled him out, Karsyn did not survive. A 7-year-old girl riding with him was injured but is expected to recover.

Karsyn’s family and community are devastated by this sudden loss. His parents, John and Jodi Slaydon, are now faced with the unimaginable task of planning a funeral while caring for their younger daughter.

Arrangements have been made to honor Karsyn’s life:

Visitation: Monday, September 1, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.
Service: Monday, September 1, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
Location: Beech Grove Baptist Church
Attire: Wear blue in his memory
