Esau Foster Schuylkill County, Pa Accident, Cause of Death; Fatal Crash on Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County Claims Life of Kingston Man, Loved Ones Mourn
The accident happened around 2:24 p.m. near mile marker 119.4. Authorities report that a 2013 GMC Acadia, driven by 81-year-old Esau Foster of Kingston, was traveling northbound behind a 1992 Kenworth tractor-trailer operated by 61-year-old Keith Musselman Jr. of Harrison, Ohio.
Police say Foster’s vehicle was straddling both northbound lanes when it struck the rear driver’s side tire of the tractor-trailer. The impact caused the Acadia to roll multiple times before coming to rest in the grass median, facing east.
Foster was extricated from the vehicle and initially transported by Frackville Community Ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital–Schuylkill East. He was later flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest, where he succumbed to his injuries. The Lehigh Valley Coroner’s Office pronounced him deceased.
