News of his passing was shared by friends and coworkers, many of whom described Blake as a supportive, kindhearted man whose passion for the outdoors and positive energy left an impact everywhere he went.
Blake, who worked with a local crew, had the day off from work when the accident occurred. Colleagues recalled how every Friday they would receive their assignments for the following week—but this week’s message carried heartbreaking news.
“He had the day off, and today was his birthday,” one coworker wrote. “We talked about cooking, fishing, and kayaking all the time. He supported this page and was one of my top fans, but most importantly, he was my friend. He will be missed, and the job site will not be the same without his positive energy. Fly high, buddy.”
Blake was also a supporter of Kentuckabilly Outdoors, where his love for fishing, kayaking, and the outdoors shone through. Friends say his adventurous spirit and uplifting presence will be remembered fondly by everyone who knew him.
