Darren Jamar Cole Obituary-Death News; Shooting on Sparkman Drive leaves one man dead

One man is dead after a shooting this evening on Sparkman Drive.

Huntsville police say they responded to a call of a possible of a possible shooting in progress on the 1900 block of Sparkman Drive. When they arrived, they found an adult male, 31-year-old Darren Jamar Cole, suffering from a gunshot wound.

Sadly, Cole did not survive his injuries. Investigators from the Major Crimes Unit have been called to the scene and are actively investigating.
