The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said the crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. when Ramirez’s motorcycle collided with a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Brockton Miller of Elkhorn. Ramirez was pronounced dead at the scene, while Miller was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. No other occupants were reported in the vehicle.

While initial findings suggest Miller’s vehicle turned into the motorcycle’s path, officials have not determined whether traffic violations occurred.
