Ashtin Fletcher Obituary-Death News; Ashtin Fletcher Passes Away In A Fatal North Omaha shooting
Ashtin Fletcher, a 19-year-old from Omaha, was killed early Sunday morning during a shooting near 62nd Street and Camden Avenue. The incident took place around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, prompting an immediate response from local authorities.
Upon arrival, officers from the Omaha Police Department discovered Fletcher lying dead in the street. A second individual, a 20-year-old man, had also been injured and was taken to Nebraska Medicine. His injuries were reported as not life-threatening.
Lt. Jose Nava of OPD described the scene as extensive and still under active investigation. Authorities are continuing to work on the case and have not released information about any suspects or arrests at this time.
