Dr. Ronald “Ron” Moy, one of the nation’s most distinguished cosmetic and facial plastic surgeons, has passed away, leaving behind a legacy of medical excellence, innovation, and compassion that shaped the field of dermatologic and aesthetic surgery.

Based in Los Angeles, California, Dr. Moy was widely respected for his surgical skill, groundbreaking research, and decades of contributions to patient care and physician education.

With a career spanning more than 25 years, Dr. Moy performed over 30,000 procedures, specializing in cosmetic and facial plastic surgery, including facelifts, eye lifts, liposuction, laser skin resurfacing, and Mohs Micrographic Surgery.

Dr. Moy was the recipient of numerous honors, including the Samuel J. Stegman, MD Award for Distinguished Service—recognizing his outstanding contributions to dermatologic surgery.

He also served his local community by volunteering his services at the Venice Family Clinic for two decades, embodying his belief that access to quality care is a right, not a privilege.
