With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Margaret “Maggie” Basgall Warner, who departed this life on July 12, 2025, at the age of 48. Maggie was a beloved daughter, partner, mother, sister, aunt, and friend whose presence brought joy, light, and love to all who knew her.

Born on August 13, 1976, Maggie was a longtime resident of West Allis, Wisconsin, and spent her final years in the peaceful embrace of Minocqua, Wisconsin, alongside her loving partner, Brian Wagner.

Maggie’s life was a reflection of compassion, strength, and unwavering love for her family. She was preceded in death by Rosemary Kaminski (Daniel Dorn), whose memory she held dear.

She is survived by her three beloved children—Rosemary, Joshua, and Daniel Warner—who were the center of her world and the source of her greatest pride. Maggie’s devotion to her children was unconditional, and her love for them will remain a guiding force in their lives forever.

Maggie was the cherished daughter of George Basgall, who provided her with enduring love and support throughout her life. She was also a beloved sister to George “Gjoe” Basgall, Jennifer Basgall, Jaclyn (Sherman) Ruedinger, Lisa Mlot, Brad Dorn, Katie (Troy) Meyer, and Daniel Wagner.

Her bond with her siblings was marked by deep affection, laughter, and shared memories that will be treasured always. A devoted and fun-loving aunt, Maggie was adored by her many nieces and nephews:

Alyssa (Richard) Haertel, Collin Basgall, Joseph (Brooke) Ruedinger, Jacob Ruedinger, Emily Ruedinger, Phallyn Basgall, Justin Ruedinger, Talan Basgall, Beckhon Basgall, Guardian Basgall, CoraLynn Basgall, Isabella Meyer, Olivia Meyer, Sophia Meyer, and Lola Meyer.

Her vibrant spirit, sense of humor, and nurturing heart made her a favorite among the younger generation. She played an active role in their lives and was a constant source of encouragement and joy.

To those who knew her best, Maggie was a woman of remarkable kindness, quick wit, and a warm, infectious laugh that could light up any room. She approached life with resilience and grace, even in the face of challenges.

She had an extraordinary way of making people feel seen, heard, and valued, and she offered her support to others with sincerity and generosity. Maggie’s love story with Brian Wagner was a testament to true partnership.

Together, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and shared dreams. Their time together in Minocqua was marked by quiet moments, shared adventures, and a deep, abiding love that brought them both peace and happiness.

Family and friends are invited to honor Maggie’s life at her funeral service, which will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at Schaff Funeral Home, located at 5920 W Lincoln Ave, West Allis, WI 53214. Visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a memorial service to follow.

In celebration of the beautiful life Maggie lived and the many lives she touched, a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Eckbar, 7408 W Walker, West Allis, WI 53214. Family, friends, and loved ones are welcome to gather, share memories, and find comfort in one another as they reflect on the incredible legacy Maggie leaves behind.

Though Maggie Basgall Warner has left this world, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love her. Her laughter, her love, and her unwavering spirit will never be forgotten.
