Thomas was also involved in the broader faith community through his work with Grace Central Coast – North County Campus, where he continued to share his love for ministry, music, and mentorship.

His dedication to serving others extended into his professional life as well, with roles at both Sempra Energy and SoCalGas. His work ethic was unmatched, and his colleagues remember him as a dependable, positive presence — someone you could always count on, both on and off the clock.

A proud graduate of Atascadero High School, Thomas stayed rooted in his hometown, going on to study at Cuesta College. He poured his life into the very place that shaped him, never seeking recognition, but always striving to give back more than he received.

To know Thomas was to know a man who loved deeply his family, his friends, his faith, his music, and his community. He had a heart for people, a gift for making others feel valued, and a calm, grounded presence that made even the hardest days feel manageable. His laugh, his kindness, and his sincerity will be remembered by all who had the joy of knowing him.

Thomas Bradley Zaldivar leaves behind a legacy of service, love, and creative passion that will be remembered by many. His sudden loss is felt deeply, and the hole he leaves behind will not soon be filled. A memorial service will be announced in the coming days, where friends, family, and community members will come together to honor and celebrate his life.

As we grieve, we also give thanks for the time we had with Thomas, for the memories he gave us, and for the example of a life well-lived in the service of others. Rest in peace, Thomas. You were a light in this world, and your light will never go out.
