he Somedays Bar and Grill community is heartbroken following the sudden and unexpected passing of one of its most cherished team members, Jen Sullivan, earlier this week.

Jen was not only a dedicated and hardworking employee she was the heart and soul of Somedays, a friend to many, and a true pillar of the restaurant’s story from the very beginning. Alongside her husband, Jen played a vital role in the startup and remodel of the bar and grill, pouring her time, energy, and heart into helping build the space into the beloved local spot it is today.

Her passing on Monday, April 14, has left a deep void in the hearts of those who worked with her and knew her best.

“Jen was one of the greatest people I’ve ever known,” a statement from the Somedays team read. “She was hardworking and caring—some days a little too brutally honest—but that’s what we loved about her. I couldn’t have built this without her and her husband. Their fingerprints are on every part of this place.”

Known for her no-nonsense honesty, fierce work ethic, and genuine care for everyone around her, Jen’s presence was a daily dose of realness and warmth for coworkers and customers alike.

A Celebration of Life

In honor of Jen’s life and in remembrance of her incredible contributions to the Somedays family, a Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, April 23, at Somedays Bar and Grill.

The venue will be closed until 4:30 p.m. that day to allow staff, friends, and family the time to gather, grieve, and share memories of the woman who meant so much to them.

The restaurant asks for patience and kindness from the community as the team navigates this difficult loss and begins the process of healing.

A Lasting Legacy

Jen leaves behind a legacy of loyalty, laughter, and love that will forever be a part of the Somedays story. She wasn’t just part of the staff—she was family.
