Adam Darrah And Marcus Macaulay Death News; Victims Killed In A Fatal Shooting
A 20-year-old man, David Larose, has been arrested on murder and weapons charges in connection with the fatal shooting of two 19-year-olds in Fort Ann, New York, on Thursday night.
Larose is accused of gunning down Glen Falls teens Adam M. Darrah and Marcus J. Macaulay, both 19, around 9:00 p.m. in Washington County.
According to New York State Police, troopers and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of gunfire on Clay Hill Road, near the New York-Vermont border.
Upon arrival, officers found both victims with life-threatening gunshot wounds. Emergency medical teams transported them to Glens Falls Hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.
Darrah, remembered as a quiet yet kind-hearted individual, had recently started working as an apprentice electrician and was considering college in the fall.
He was passionate about cars, often spending his weekends working on engines. Macaulay, a former high school athlete, was known for his outgoing personality and plans to enlist in the U.S. Army later this year.
Authorities initially sought the suspect, who had fled the scene in a vehicle. Larose was arrested shortly afterward and now faces charges including murder.
The tragic loss of Darrah and Macaulay has shaken the community, where they were both well-loved for their distinct personalities and bright futures.
