Alexus Lee Car Accident; Alexus Lee Car Accident Baton, Rouge: Beloved East Feliciana STEAM Academy teacher killed in Friday morning crash
It is with great sadness we inform you that Ms. Alexus Lee, 2017 graduate of East Feliciana High School and teacher at East Feliciana STEAM Academy, passed away this morning. Her death was confirmed on a Facebook post ”Honestly just still in disbelief… my heart, head & prayers are with both the Lee & Collins family. As I sat on stage & in my section & watched from afar lastnight all I keep replaying in my head is how FREE Alexus was in the middle of the dance floor. Looked as if she had not a worry in the world! She danced as if she was dancing with someone but was honestly all alone. As a owner of businesses & someone who actually cares my stomach has been in knots since receiving all the calls & text this morning. To see someone just a FEW hours & some minutes before their demise is mind triggering. Alexus & her sisters have supported my establishments for many years to come so she was no stranger to us/me. I did not know her childs father as well but just know my sincerest condolences to that young man as well. This situation has shaken anyone who knew both parties involved. May God continue to lead, guide & keep all the families affected by this devastating life changing situation. From Me, DC Eats & Da Hole we love yall & we are here.
