Alyssa Boyd Obituary-Death News; Woman Died in ATV Accident, Julian Fleming Injured

Julian Fleming, former Penn State wide receiver, was seriously injured in a fatal ATV accident Friday night in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. The crash occurred around 8:00 p.m. on Painter Lick Lane in Columbia Township.

Fleming was driving a Yamaha ATV with passenger Alyssa Boyd, 23, of Bloomsburg, when a deer jumped into the road, causing a collision. Neither was wearing safety gear. Boyd died at the scene; Fleming was transported to Guthrie Troy Community Hospital with serious injuries.

Police confirmed the presence of a deceased deer and noted the crash remains under investigation. Emergency responders from Guthrie EMS, Troy Fire Department, and Pennsylvania State Police assisted at the scene.

Fleming played one season at Penn State in 2024, recording 14 receptions for 176 yards and a touchdown. He totaled 93 catches, 1,139 yards, and eight touchdowns over his college career, including four seasons at Ohio State. He signed as an undrafted free agent with the Green Bay Packers in 2025 but failed a physical, and the deal was withdrawn.
