Amazon Delivery Driver Killed After Being Struck in Green Township

A tragic accident claimed the life of an Amazon delivery driver after he was struck by the rear of a truck’s trailer while crossing a street in Green Township on Wednesday afternoon.

The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 30-year-old David Didusch.

According to Green Township police, officers responded just before 4:40 p.m. to a reported pedestrian crash on the 4300 block of Hutchinson Road. Investigators found that Didusch had stopped in the southbound lane to make a delivery and then began crossing the road as a 2017 Ford F-250 towing a flatbed trailer traveled northbound.

Police said Didusch did not wait for the truck and trailer to clear the crossing, resulting in the rear of the trailer striking him as the vehicle continued north.

David Didusch was transported to UC Medical Center but succumbed to his injuries the following day, Thursday. The driver of the truck was located later that evening.

The crash remains under investigation, and authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Green Township Traffic Unit at 513-574-0007.

This devastating incident serves as a somber reminder to all to remain vigilant and cautious on the roads to prevent further tragedies. Our condolences go out to the family, friends, and colleagues of David Didusch during this difficult time.
