Officer Andrew Paterek, a devoted member of the Old Bridge Township Police Department, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 23, 2025 ([dailyvoice.com][1]). The news has left his colleagues, community, and the Police Benevolent Association (PBA) in profound mourning.
Andrew began his service in 2015 as an auxiliary officer with the Old Bridge Township Police Department. In 2020, he advanced to Class 1 Special Law Enforcement Officer. His dedication culminated in November 2022, when he joined as a full-time sworn officer one of five newly appointed recruits.
A proud graduate of New Jersey City University (2021), Andrew held a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice equipping him with the academic foundation to serve his community with insight and competence.
