Anthony David Zatkos Obituary-Death News; Esteemed Floral Business Expert from Lyndhurst, NJ, Passes Away
Lyndhurst, NJ – Anthony David “Chuck” Zatkos, a respected figure in the floral industry, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the age of 72. Born and raised in Passaic, NJ, Mr. Zatkos graduated from Pope Pius XII High School.
Throughout his career, Mr. Zatkos made significant contributions to the floral business, earning recognition for his expertise and dedication. His professional achievements were matched by his deep commitment to family and community.
Mr. Zatkos is survived by his beloved wife, Maria; his children, Anthony Jr. and Sofia; his siblings, Nicholas Zatkos of North Haledon and Sofia Portela of North Arlington; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Sofia Zatkos.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kimak Funeral Home in Lyndhurst. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Mr. Zatkos.
