Dixon Polzin Marinette, WI ATV Accident: M&M Thunder Hockey player, Dixon Polzin Died in All-terrain Vehicle crash, Loved Ones Mourn

The Marinette community and the M&M Thunder Hockey family are mourning the tragic loss of Dixon Polzin, a beloved young player who proudly wore #72. Dixon passed away this past weekend in an ATV accident, leaving his family, teammates, and friends heartbroken.

Dixon was known for his passion for hockey, his strong work ethic, and the positive energy he brought to the rink. Coaches and teammates describe him as a dedicated player who gave his all on the ice and encouraged others with his enthusiasm and determination. His presence was not only felt in games but also in the friendships and bonds he built with those around him.

In a message of solidarity, the Shamrocks Hockey organization wrote: “This weekend the M&M Thunder Hockey family was devastated with the loss of one of their young players, #72 Dixon Polzin. The Shamrocks stand in solidarity with the Thunder and want to express our deepest condolences to the Polzin family. Tonight, we put our sticks out for Dixon.”

Across the region, players, teams, and families have joined in the touching tribute of placing hockey sticks outside their homes—a symbol of remembrance and unity within the hockey community.
