Eric Feighl Obituary-Death News; Eric Feighl Cause of Death – Eric Feighl Passed Away Unexpectedly at Age 53
With his passing, the world lost a man of quiet strength, unshakable loyalty, and deep compassion—a devoted family man, trusted friend, and respected professional who touched many lives with his steady presence and kind heart.
From an early age, Eric embodied the values of hard work, humility, and perseverance. He was a proud graduate of Lamar High School in Houston and later earned his degree in business administration from the University of Houston.
Always driven and thoughtful, Eric spent much of his career in the logistics and transportation industry, where he developed a reputation for reliability, fairness, and leadership. His colleagues respected him not only for his skill and professionalism, but for the calm and collaborative spirit he brought to every challenge.
Outside of work, Eric was a man who cherished the simple pleasures of life—family dinners, quiet afternoons in the backyard, a good book, or a long walk with his dog. He had a wry sense of humor, a love for classic rock, and a knack for fixing just about anything.
He was the one people called when something broke, when advice was needed, or when life felt overwhelming. He listened with patience and spoke with wisdom, never seeking the spotlight, but always there when it mattered most.
Eric’s greatest joy, however, came from his role as a husband and father. He shared over two decades of marriage with his beloved wife, Lisa, and together they built a home filled with laughter, love, and enduring commitment.
He was a proud and attentive father to his two children, Rachel and Daniel, always encouraging them to follow their passions and lead lives of integrity. His family was his world, and everything he did was rooted in the desire to provide, protect, and uplift them.
Eric also maintained close bonds with his extended family and lifelong friends. He believed in the power of community, and he was often the quiet glue that held people together—checking in, offering a hand, showing up. He gave generously of his time and energy, never expecting anything in return.
He will be remembered for his sincerity, loyalty, and the unmistakable steadiness of his love. Though his passing leaves a profound emptiness, Eric’s legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched.
His memory will be carried forward in every act of kindness inspired by his example, every story told with a smile, and every gathering where his spirit will be dearly missed but fondly remembered.
Eric is survived by his wife Lisa Feighl; his children, Rachel and Daniel Feighl; his parents, Gerald and Marie Feighl; his sister, Michelle (Feighl) Harper and her husband Scott; his nieces and nephews; and many more extended family members, friends, and colleagues who mourn his loss.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Houston. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Eric’s memory to the American Heart Association or to a local charity of your choice.
Eric Steven Feighl lived a life rooted in love, grounded in humility, and shaped by quiet strength. He will be missed more than words can express but remembered always with deep affection, gratitude, and respect.
Rest in peace, Eric. Your legacy lives on in the love you gave and the lives you touched.
