Gus Revenberg Windsor, ON Obituary, Cause of Death: Windsor Auto Dealer and Founder of Chevrolet Buick GMC Passes Away
Revenberg, founder of Gus Revenberg Chevrolet Buick GMC in 1987 and later a second dealership in 2009, was known not only for his business acumen but also for his kindness, generosity, and humility. For nearly four decades, he was a fixture in Windsor’s automotive industry, where his leadership and dedication earned him the admiration of employees, colleagues, and customers alike.
In a statement, his dealership reflected on his passing:
“Gus was not only a great leader, but also a kind and generous man whose compassion and vision touched the lives of so many. His dedication to his community, his team, and his family will always be remembered. We will miss him deeply, and we know his memory will live on in the countless lives he influenced.”
Despite his success, Revenberg preferred to keep his good deeds private. Friends and family recall that he quietly supported countless local causes, always choosing to remain anonymous in his acts of generosity. Beyond business and philanthropy, Revenberg cherished simple joys: fishing and spending time with his horses at the barn.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Gaynia Revenberg, and his siblings: Tony Revenberg, Lidwena Vuicic, Gemma Vandenberg, Aggie Zivanov, Mariette Russel, Jacinta Collins, Lucy Brown, Bernadette Revenberg, Theresa Stiers, and Jerry Revenberg.
