Jodi Miller Obituary-Death News; Jodi Miller, Manitowoc County Jail Sergeant Passed Away
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jodi Miller, a valued and deeply respected member of the Two Rivers Police Department.
Jodi’s sudden departure leaves a void not only in our agency but in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of service, kindness, and unwavering commitment to the community will never be forgotten.
Jodi joined our department in 2022 as a Community Service Officer, where she immediately made a positive impact with her strong work ethic and warm demeanor. Her passion for public service and her desire to contribute meaningfully to the department were evident from the start.
Over time, her role evolved, and she was promoted to a position on our Professional Administrative staff, serving as the department’s Evidence Clerk. In this vital role, Jodi brought a sense of precision, integrity, and diligence that was admired by her colleagues and essential to the work we do every day.
Prior to her time with the Two Rivers Police Department, Jodi served with distinction as a Sergeant in the Manitowoc County Jail. Her years in law enforcement gave her a deep understanding of the demands and responsibilities that come with serving the public. She brought that experience and leadership to our agency, always leading by example and willing to lend a hand wherever it was needed.
Jodi was not only a skilled and dedicated professional she was also a source of light and positivity in our daily lives. Whether working behind the scenes in the evidence room or engaging with fellow staff members, Jodi could always be counted on for a warm smile, a kind word, and her trademark laugh that could brighten even the most stressful day. Her sense of humor and optimism were contagious, and she made a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
She was the very definition of a team player always willing to help, always showing up for others, and always embodying the values we strive for as a department.
Her compassion for others, both within and beyond our agency, was genuine and deeply felt. It was clear to all that Jodi truly cared about the people she served and the colleagues she worked alongside.
Jodi exemplified what it means to be a member of the TRPD family. She was not just an employee; she was a friend, a confidant, a mentor, and a constant presence of support and kindness. Her contributions to the department extended far beyond her job title, and her absence will be felt profoundly throughout our ranks.
Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to Jodi’s family, friends, and all who have been touched by her life and her passing. We mourn this loss together as a family and honor her memory by continuing to uphold the values she lived by: service, compassion, and dedication to others. Jodi will forever be a part of the story of the Two Rivers Police Department, and we are better for having had her among us.
Rest in peace, Jodi. You will be missed, but never forgotten.
