Joey Keyes Obituary-Death News; Joseph Keyes AKA Josuf Keez Passes Away Following Medical Emergency

Joey Keyes, known affectionately by some as Joseph Keyes or Josuf Keez, passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2025, after his heart suddenly stopped. Despite valiant efforts and over two hours of CPR, he could not be revived.

His passing leaves a heartbreaking void in the lives of everyone who knew and loved him. Joey was the kind of person who brought joy with him wherever he went. His presence was magnetic—his easy smile, warm heart, and infectious laughter made everyone around him feel valued and loved.

He had a way of turning even ordinary moments into cherished memories. To know Joey was to know compassion, generosity, and unwavering kindness. Joey was, above all, a man of deep devotion.

He lived a life of selflessness, always putting others before himself. Whether it was staying up late to help a friend move, dropping everything to offer a listening ear, or giving his time and energy to make sure someone else was okay—Joey was always there.

He gave freely, not for recognition or reward, but because it was simply who he was at his core. His greatest joy in life came from the family he built and the love he shared. Joey was a devoted husband to Kristina, his soulmate and the love of his life.

Their bond was beautiful and deep—rooted in mutual respect, laughter, and unwavering support. Joey was filled with anticipation and pride to step into his role as a father, embracing the future with open arms and an open heart.

His eyes would light up when he spoke about the life he and Kristina were building together. That dream—of family, of love, of legacy—meant everything to him. Joey was also a beloved son to Sterling and Amy, who raised him with love, values, and strength.

He honored them not only through his words, but through the way he lived—always striving to be someone they could be proud of. As a brother, Joey held a special place in the hearts of Michael, Kaitlyn, Ben, and Ammon.

He was their protector, their cheerleader, their best friend. His loyalty and affection toward his siblings were unwavering; he was someone they could always count on, someone who lifted them up in their darkest times and celebrated their victories as if they were his own.

The pain of losing Joey is immeasurable. This is a loss that will echo across every life he touched, from friends who considered him family, to the strangers he greeted with kindness, to the countless people who walked away from a conversation with him feeling seen and cared for.

He made people feel safe. He made people feel loved. The world feels colder without him in it. But even in the midst of grief, Joey’s light endures. His legacy will live on in the lives he impacted so deeply—in his wife, his child, his family, and in every act of kindness done in his memory.

He showed us all what it means to live with an open heart. He showed us the power of presence, of love, and of unwavering devotion. Joey Keyes will be remembered as a loving husband, an incredible son, a steadfast brother, a loyal friend, and a father whose love will live on forever.

His time on this earth was far too short, but the love he gave, the memories he made, and the example he set will never fade. Rest in peace, Joey. You were so loved. You always will be.
