According to the report, a James Sudberry, 34, was driving a Ford Explorer when he slammed into four horseback riders that were heading west on CR 16

Glenn County, CA.- Four people were injured when a vehicle struck horseback riders in Glenn County on Tuesday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident happened on County Road 16 near County Road HH at around 7:45 p.m. September 9.

According to the report, a James Sudberry, 34, was driving a Ford Explorer when he slammed into four horseback riders that were heading west on CR 16.

The riders were ejected by the impact of the crash.

27-year-old Matthew Meester, of Orland, was transported to a hospital with serious head and neck injuries.

32-year-old Antonio Guerrero, of Orland, was treated for moderate injuries to his knee, elbow, and wrists.

28-year-old Holden Garcia and 25-year-old Jameson Temple, both of Paradise, were treated for unspecified injuries.
