It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dr. Pallav J. Raval on April 21, 2025. A beloved father, son, brother, and friend, Pallav left this world far too soon, but not without leaving a lasting impact on everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
Born on March 31, 1972, Pallav was the cherished son of Ranjan and Janak Raval and the younger brother of Parind Raval. Raised in a home filled with love, encouragement, and strong values, Pallav grew up with a curiosity about the world and a commitment to bettering it.
His academic journey took him first to the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), where he laid the foundation for his future in science and medicine. He later earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Mercer University, a milestone that launched a distinguished and compassionate career in pharmacy and healthcare.
Pallav was a man who approached life with purpose and joy. He was dedicated to helping others, and his work in pharmacy was marked by an exceptional combination of knowledge, empathy, and personal connection.
Patients and colleagues alike remember him not only for his expertise, but for his ability to listen, to care, and to make others feel seen and valued. In 2009, Pallav experienced the greatest joy of his life with the birth of his twin daughters, Alexis and Avani.
From the moment they arrived, they became the center of his world. Pallav was a devoted father who adored his girls unconditionally. He delighted in watching them grow, encouraging their dreams, and supporting them in every way.
His love for Alexis and Avani was boundless, and his proudest title was simply “Dad.” Pallav’s passion for life extended beyond his work and his family. He was an avid traveler who embraced the richness of different cultures and experiences.
Whether exploring distant countries or visiting new corners of the U.S., Pallav had a way of connecting with people everywhere he went. His warmth, sense of humor, and genuine interest in others allowed him to make friends across the globe.
His stories of his travels—shared with laughter and animated detail—will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. Pallav’s loss is deeply felt by his family, friends, colleagues, and all who were fortunate enough to cross his path.
His life was a testament to the power of kindness, curiosity, and connection. Though he has left this world, his spirit lives on in the many lives he touched and in the enduring love of his daughters, family, and friends.
