Robert Porterfield Obituary-Death News; Robert Porterfield Passes Away In Fatal Sharon Pedestrian Crash
Robert Porterfield, a 73-year-old resident of Hermitage, died Saturday night after being hit by a vehicle in Sharon, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred at the intersection of East State Street and Buhl Boulevard around 9:32 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found Porterfield with critical injuries. He was rushed to Sharon Regional Health System, where he was later pronounced dead.
The Mercer County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Porterfield died from blunt force trauma to the head, and the death has been classified as accidental. Authorities stated that the driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
