Starbucks Reserve Roastery Suicde – Death; Police Respond to Suicide at Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Downtown Chicago

Police responded to a call at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery on Michigan Avenue Monday morning, September 8, following what authorities described as an apparent suicide.

According to officials, multiple police units arrived at the location at 646 N. Michigan Ave. after reports that a person had taken their own life inside the building. Workers were evacuated as law enforcement secured the scene and began their investigation.

The body was later removed from the premises by officials. Police have not released the identity of the deceased, and the investigation remains ongoing.

The Starbucks Reserve Roastery, one of the chain’s flagship locations, was temporarily closed during the response.
