Warren Stewart Obituary-Death News; Warren Stewart Passes Away In Fatal Austin shooting
Warren Stewart, 36, was fatally shot late Friday night in northeast Austin, allegedly by his brother, Tevin Stewart. The incident took place at a residence on Halifax Drive, where emergency responders were called following a 911 call.
Upon arriving at the scene, paramedics with Austin-Travis County EMS were directed to the victim by Tevin Stewart, who admitted to being the shooter. Warren Stewart was found with a gunshot wound and was later pronounced dead.
Authorities say the two men lived together, but details regarding the motive remain unclear. Tevin Stewart, 31, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
The Austin Police Department has noted that this case marks the city’s 28th homicide of the year. An investigation is ongoing.
